443-12 Taroko – Taiwan [June 15:10] I was working
in Hong Kong, and had to travel to Taiwan, as the meetings had to continue
on Monday, we decided to visit thie park during the weekend, it was near
Hualien. All the signs were in Chinese, but fortunately I had a copy of
the park map in English and the second with Chinese characters, so I had
to compare the Chinese characters in the signs with the Chinese map, and
look for its translation in the English map. Fortunately I manage to get
around the trails that were constructed by the Chiang Kai-shek troops that
had retired in the park. The vegetation and looks were very similar to my
homeland in the Yungas of Bolivia, where my love for water started, except
for the Temples. |
