562-11 Mendoza - Argentina. [October 17:53] Late in the
afternoon, we decided to take some photographs with my daughter on a ski
area named Vallecitos. It had rained all day and we waited until the sun
entered between the clouds and illuminated the hills giving an orange glow
that colored the water. I was worried to compose and take as many photographs
as the light could allow me, so I wasn't focusing on the small details.
Months later, while I scanned the slide, an Argentine friend said to me:
"you have trash in your photo..." (dirt and trash are synonymous
in Spanish). I told him that he was right, that the dust particles stick
to the slide and they look like rocks or dirt when they are magnified, to
which he replied: "no, you have a bottle". He was right. |
