Here is your chance to have a one on one portfolio review of your recent photographic work with Howard M. Christopherson, artist, photographer and gallery owner.

Howard Christopherson will listen to you, carefully review your photography portfolio, critique and make suggestions.

This meeting will take place at the Icebox Gallery in the Box Gallery. Discussion will involve your concept, theme, media, audience, presentation, quality and direction.  Howard will carefully look at your work and discuss it from a photographer’s point of view as well as a gallery director.  The discussion will be informative, straightforward and honest.

Each personal review consultation will last between 1 -1 1/2 hours.  Price $150.00

Bring:
Your current resume.
Your best work in the best presentation you have. Up to 100 prints.
Book portfolio, postcards, and promotion materials.
Prints can be B/W, color, analog or digital.
Limit any framed pieces to 5, and less than 30 x 40 inches.
Bring paper and a pen to make notes.

Do not bring:
A CD, we will not be using a computer.
Large unmanageable prints or rolled prints.

Reviews are scheduled two or more weeks in advance.

Howard M. Christopherson

Christopherson is an artist, photographer, a master framer, and a gallery owner. He founded ICEBOX Quality Framing & Gallery in 1988, a quality picture frame shop and a contemporary fine art gallery in NE Minneapolis. At Icebox Howard has created and organized more than 100 shows.

Howard M. Christopherson is a self-taught artist who has won awards in drawing, painting, sculpture, video, and photography.  Photography became his primary means of expression.  He has documented many exotic places including the Galapagos Islands, South America, Italy, Tokyo and Mexico. 

His photographs have been published in magazines; ZOOM, both the European and Russian edition, Black and White, Mpls. St. Paul, Minnesota Monthly, Rake, Shots and in several newspapers including Minneapolis Star Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press, City Pages and Asian Pages.

Christopherson is a prolific photographer who is always creating images and exhibits. His photography has been exhibited all over the United States. Christopherson has had a solo exhibit in Italy 2006 and a 15 piece featured exhibit in Tokyo, Japan in 2004.

Christopherson’s photographs are included in many private collections and these permanent collections: Minnesota Historical Society, University of Minnesota Art Museum
