Torquay is the English resort town best known as the home of Basil Fawlty, the world’s worst hotelier, played by John Cleese in his brilliant sitcom, Fawlty Towers. The day I visited Torquay two 10-year-old girls, Vicki and Jane, followed me on my photographic rounds for two or three hours, giggling and jabbering away. I was the best free entertainment they could find. They were trailing along behind me when I took this picture.
