This work represents a collaboration between Tim
& Cheryl. Cheryl provided the concept and approach, as well as serving
as the model. Tim provided execution of the concept.
This photograph was created using a macro lens. Exposures were made on
Kodak Gold 25 color negative film, cross-processed in E-6. The resulting
‘slide’ was scanned and printed on color photographic paper,
which was mounted on gator-foam.
Cheryl and I were interested in melding figure and landscape to create
figure-as-landscape. While we were originally interested in creating collage-type
light table pieces using entire rolls of film, as we examined the results,
some of the images had merit as individual photographs. This is one of
them.
