724-11 La Parva - Chile. [July 13:12] During our winter
vacations, while I taught ski to my younger daughter, I had agreed with
my wife that I would have a day for my photography. I left mid-morning by
a valley that is not far from the road, nevertheless it had deep snow and
it took me a long time to walk the 30 meters (100 feet) to get to the small
waterfalls that had ice. During the 2 hours that I stayed, my feet froze
as the snow made its way into the boots. While I took the photographs a
boy passed by who spoke French, by his accent I deduced that he was Belgian,
he asked: are you from the National Geographic? |
