Photography is a unique method for creating lasting images through chemical reactions that occur when light strikes a specially prepared surface. As a direct result of advances in chemistry, modern photography was "invented" during the first three decades of the 19th century. I was not around then. I got a C- in high school chemistry. I took this picture anyway. Turns out you don't need that much light. |
